Adam Josef Calpin of Falls left this world suddenly on August 13, 2022 at the age of 36.
Born on November 6, 1985 in Kingston, he was the son of Elaine Ord and the late Martin Calpin.
Adam was an old soul who ruminated to find a deeper understanding of life through reading, poetry, and his art. He loved nature, camping, hiking, and forging for mushrooms.
If you were looking for Adam and he wasn't outdoors, you'd most likely find him in the garage. With a knack for mechanics, Adam loved to tinker on his motorcycles, cars, and trucks. Always wanting to take on a project, and maybe too many, he never quite finished one before another idea came about.
He was preceded in death by his father Martin T. Calpin, stepdad Ron Ord, stepsister Tara Ord, and many friends and relatives.
Adam is survived by his mother Elaine Ord, sisters Marti and Reina, brother Bren, stepsiblings Veronica and Paul, nephews Izaiah and Nash, and nieces Rylan, Taralina, Niamh, Amaya, and Aviana.
"AC" as his friends called him, had a willingness to help others. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend whose goofiness will be greatly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday from 6-8pm at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, LLC, and 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.
Funeral will be held on Friday at 8:30am from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 9:00am at Church of the Holy Redeemer, Rt. 92 Harding with the Monsignor John Sempa, pastor as celebrant.
Interment will be in Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton.
