Ann M. Ide, of Exeter, passed away at the age of 92 at the Allied Services Hospice Center, Meade St., Wilkes-Barre with her family at her bedside reminiscing of happy times together.
Ann and her late husband Howard ( Spike) Ide and their son Maverick started the Ide Fuel Home Heating business in where she handled the paperwork and answered the phones until she retired at the age of 90.
Her free time was spent sitting on the front porch, watching her favorite soap operas, and immensely enjoyed cooking for her family their favorite foods. Her specialties included pierogies, stuffed cabbage, chicken dumplings and baked pork chops.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Frank, Joseph and Louis Stefanowicz and sisters, Helen Jadus and Ceil Kloss and a granddaughter, Amy Ide.
Ann is survived by her daughter Diane and her husband Richard Woods, Exeter and her son Howard ( Maverick and his fiancé Donna Ortiz, Exeter. Grandchildren, Jamie and his fiance Loren Mattie, Forty Fort, Drs. Brent and Dawn Ide, Virginia, Jacob and his fiance Kelsey Jones, Exeter, Jason Weiss and his fiance Dana Fumanti, Wyoming, and Great grandchildren, Coy, Jake and Piper Ide, Brittany Robinson, Jayden Satkowski, and great great grandchildren, Harper and Juliet Robinson.
Also surviving is a sister Lottie Lowe, Exeter.
Relatives and friends may call on Saturday from 9-11 am at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, LLC, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter. The Monsignor John Sempa, will officiate at 11am service.
Interment will follow at the West Pittston Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.
