Ann Marie ( Ginger) Menta, 83, formerly of West Wyoming, passed away on Tuesday July 6, 2021 at the United Methodist Homes, Wesley Village Campus, Pittston.
Born in Sebastapol, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Agnes Scott King.
She was a graduate of St. John the Evangelist Schools, Pittston and had worked in the clerical dept. of the Scranton Times newspaper and mostly as the office manager for her husbands dental office. Later on customers would remember her for working at Tony's Pizza, Pittston.
She was preceded in death by her sisters Mary Agnes Hilgert and Catherine Gubbiotti and a brother Eugene King.
Surviving are her husband of 65 years Dr. Dominic Menta, her daughter Maria ( Scott) Seeherman, Laflin, and her son Mario ( Caroline) Menta, Phoenix, Az. along with a grandson Brennan and numerous nieces nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Saturday from 9-10am at St. Monica's Parish, 363 W. 8th St., West Wyoming.
A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10am with the Rev. Peter Tomczak, pastor, as celebrant.
Interment will be in Mount Olivet Roman Catholic Cemetery, Carverton.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of Gubbiotti Funeral Home, LLC, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.
