Arthur L. Wheeland, Sr.

Arthur  (Jack) L. Wheeland, 85, of Harding, passed into eternal life on Thursday May 2, 2025 at the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp.

Born in Endicott, N.Y., he was the son of the late Charles and Anna Rosengrant Wheeland.

Jack as he was known to all because he was the "jack" of all trades,  worked as a machinist for the Harley Davidson Co., prior to his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Leroy, Clayton, Jack Wheeland, Elizabeth, Carol, Joyce, Geraldine, Dora , Virginia and Ellie and a granddaughter Stephanie Wheeland.

Surviving are his wife of 57 years, the former Catherine McDonald, and children, Christine ( James) Rosenberg, Red Lion, Arthur Jr, ( Michelle) Wheeland, Brogue, Pa., Martin Wheeland, Harding, and Brian Wheeland, Red Lion.

Grandchildren: Victoria, Jennifer, James, Megan, Brittany and Jared, Matthew, Zachary and Christian.

Great grandchildren: Anna Lynn, Lila, Landon, Nash,Julianna and Amelia.

Also surviving are his brother, Harry ( Florence) Wheeland, Taylor, and sisters, Juanita Pratt, Ohio, Rose Wheeland, Scranton, Kathy, Evelyn, Charlott, Marie , Patricia and Jill.

Private services will be held at a later date.
