Carmella Locascio Obituary

Carmella P. (Orlando) Locascio, 96, formerly of West Wyoming, passed away on Wednesday January 7, 2026 at Highland Manor Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Exeter.

Born in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late Joseph S. and Marion Noto Orlando.

Carmella was a lifelong resident of West Wyoming, a graduate of West Wyoming High School and a member of St. Monica's Parish, West Wyoming.

As anyone who ever knew her knows, she was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan all her life. If they were on the best winning streak ever or the worst losing streak ever, you could hear her singing their praises.

She loved going on family vacations to the beach. You couldn’t get her the water but she loved going.

Prior to her retirement, she had worked as a bookkeeper.

Preceding her in death were her husband Vincent Locascio, a brother Peter J. Orlando, a sister Bessie Orlando and a great grandson Anthony Locascio.

Surviving are her daughter, Jean and her husband Nello Talamelli, West Wyoming, sons Joseph and his wife Jody Locascio, West Wyoming and Vincent S. and his wife Carol Locascio, of Laurel Run, grandchildren, Nello (Kayla) Talamell, Angelo (Anna) Talamelli, Nick Talamelli, Lesley (Pat) Locascio, Joseph (Kendra) Locascio, Amanda (Dave) Vitale, Caitlyn Locascio, Vincent Locascio and Michael Locascio and 16 great-grandchildren along with nieces and nephews.
