Carmella S. Rizzo

Carmella S. Rizzo, 98, formerly of West Wyoming, passed away on Saturday May 3, 2025 at the Embassy of East Mountain Nursing Home, Plains Twp.

Born in Niagra Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Gilda Gavazzi Rizzo.

She was a graduate of West Wyoming High School Class of 1944 and prior to her retirement had worked in the garment industry, and was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.

Preceeding her in death was her brother Russell Rizzo.

Surviving are her nieces Deborah Cabalar, Morris Plains, NJ, Laura Sudol, LasVegas, Nevada. Roxanne O'Neill, Hollywood, Florida and nephew, Russell Rizzo, Jr. , many other great nieces and great newphews and great great nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday from 10am until 11:30am at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, LLC, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.

A Mass of Christian burial will follow at noon at St. Monica's Parish, 8th St., West Wyoming with the Rev. Peter Tomczak, pastor, as celebrant.

Interment with Rite of Committal will be in Mount Olivet Roman Catholic Cemetery, Carverton.
