Clare Marie (Brennan) Salerno

Clare Marie Salerno, 84, of Exeter, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at the Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Inpatient Unit, Dunmore.

Born on September 11, 1940, in Minooka, Clare was the daughter of the late Michael and Bridget Summeral Brennan.

A graduate of the former Saint John's High School, Pittston, Clare retired as a billing clerk for the Acme Markets Corporation.

Clare was a member of Corpus Christi Parish, St. Anthony's Church, Exeter.

Preceding her in death were her siblings, Ann Brannon, Helen Harzinski, Mary Brennan and Robert Brennan; and a nephew, Robert Brannon.

Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Joseph Salerno; along with many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing from 9:00 to 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home LLC, 1030 Wyoming Avenue, Exeter. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 AM from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:15 AM in Corpus Christi Parish, Saint  Anthony of Padua Church, 224 Memorial Street, Exeter.

Interment will follow in Mount Olivet Roman Catholic Cemetery, Wyoming.
