Constance Mangione Obituary
Constance (Connie) Mangione, 86, passed away, Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at Timber Ridge Health Care Center in Wilkes-Barre.
She was the daughter of the late Peter and Stella Volvack Gillis.
Connie was an avid baker, and loved line dancing with her friends. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and was extremely proud of all of them. Also Connie enjoyed her many trips to Florida with her companion Sam.
She is preceded in death by her son, Alfonso Jr., and brother, Jerome.
Surviving are companion, Sam Guarneri, sons, Peter; Pittston, Barry; New York, brother, Peter Jr.; Connecticut and daughter in laws, Christine, Melissa and Brenda.
Grandchildren: Giavanna, Brittney, Paige, Emma Rose, Alfonso Joseph, Caliegh, and Connor.
A special thank you to the staff at Timber Ridge health Care Center, and to the care givers at Compassionate Care Hospice.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Monday, March 4th, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, LLC, 1030 Wyoming Ave. , Exeter. There will be a blessing service at 5 p.m. with the Rev. Joseph Sibilano as celebrant.
Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday, from the funeral home.
Internment will follow in Denison Cemetery, Swoyersville.
