Donald Kacsmar

Donald Kacsmar, 79, of Hughestown, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025 at the Allied Services Hospice, Meade St., Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Taylor, he was the son of the late Joseph and Margaret Dougirda Kacsmar.

Mr. Kacsmar was a 1964 graduate of Exeter High School and went on to serve his country in the United State Army during the Vietnam War.

Prior to his retirement, he had worked for the Owens- Illinois Techniglass as a manager. He was an avid hunter and a Penn State Fan.

Preceding him in death were his brother Joseph and a sister Alberta Ide.

Surviving are his wife of 56 years, the former Faye Brodbeck, Hughestown, and sons Bruce Kacsmar and Brian and fiance' Crystal Williams, Exeter.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Wednesday from 4-6pm at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, LLC, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.

Services will be at 6pm at the funeral home.
