Edith BeTrue Goodwin

Edith BeTrue Goodwin, 90, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday June 8, 2024.

Born in West Pittston, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Charles Goodwin and Hilda Marks Morgan Goodwin.

Edith earned her Associates degree in Business Science from Lackawanna Jr. College and was a member of the First Congregational Church, West Pittston.

She was a seamstress and was the owner of Grandma's Care Day care. Wyoming.

She was proceeded in death by her sister Mona Mierau in April 1980. 

Surviving are her children: Linda ( Michael ) Wilk, Ashley, Cindy (Wesley) Sales, Hubbert, N.C. and Gary ( Rose Ann) Knight, Wilkes-Barre., 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews. and a brother Henry Goodwin, Leighton.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday from 5-7pm at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, LLC, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.

Funeral services will be on Friday at _____am with the Rev._____ from the First Congregational Church, West Pittston, officiating.
Interment will be in Memorial Shrine Burial Park, Carverton.
