Eugene J. Lippi, 86, of Wyoming, passed away on February 4, 2021 at the Marywood Heights Nursing Home, Scranton.
Born in Pittston, he was the son of the late Eugene Vincent and Esther Rodeghiero Lippi.
Eugene was a member of St. Barbara Parish at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Exeter and was a 1953 graduate of Wyoming Seminary.
He then served his country by enlisting in the United States Navy, graduating as Company Honor Man and serving as 3rd Class Petty Officer aboard the USS. Krishna stationed out of Norfolk, Va.
Eugene was co-owner and President of Calfab & Machine Inc., metal fabrication specialists in Exeter, PA.
He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to all that knew him.
Eugene loved spending time with family and friends on the St. Lawrence River and Lake Ontario where he was an avid boater and fisherman.
Eugene was a hero and role model to his family who will be deeply missed by everyone that knew and loved him.
Preceding him in death were he is wife Dorothy in 2001 and a sister Lois Lucci.
Left to mourn his passing are his daughter Donna Marie and her husband Jeffrey Williams, Harvey’s Lake , grandchildren Shaun and his wife Heather Williams, Lexington S.C., and Melanie and her husband Steven Lee, Plymouth, along with 3 great grandchildren,Sister in law Louise Hvozdovic, nephews Steven Hvozdovic and wife Chyrisse, and Rev. Andrew S. Hvozdovic.
Relatives and friends are invited to a walk thru visitation on Sunday from 1-3pm at Gubbiotti Funeral Home, LLC, 1030 Wyoming Ave, Exeter.
Military funeral services will accorded by the AMVETS Honor Guard at 9:30am Monday from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10am at St. Barbara Parish in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 224 Memorial St., Exeter.
His nephew the Rev. Andrew S. Hvozdovic, V.F. Pastor of the Church of the Epiphany, will be celebrant.
Interment with Military Honors will be at Mount Olivet Roman Catholic Cemetery, Carverton section of Kingston Twp.
