Evo E. Galli, 90, of Exeter, passed away on Monday September 25, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Exeter, he was the son of the late William and Philomina Cerulli Galli.
Evo attended Exeter Schools and and was a member of St. Barbara Parish at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Exeter.
He honorably served his country during the Korean War in the United States Navy.He was also a member of the Korean War Veterans of Wyoming Valley and the Veterans of Foreign War Exeter Post 6518.
During his career, he worked as a meat inspector for the USDA.
Preceding him in death were his siblings, Edith Kmetz, Anthony Galli, Josephine Guarnieri, Guido Galli, Lillian Galli , Verna Galli, and William Jr. and son in law Thomas Fiorini.
Surviving are his wife of 65 years the former Joan Valentukonis and daughters Janine and her husband Guy Handza, Kingston, Susan Houck, Wyoming, and Elaine Fiorini, Wyoming, grandchildren, Christina ( Seth Henry) Polizzi, Brian Murdoch, and Erin Purcell, and great grandchildren, Raylee Purcell and Cole Murdoch along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A private memorial visitation will be on Friday October 6, 2023 at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, LLC, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.
Services with Rev. James Also will be followed by interment at Mount Olivet Roman Catholic Cemetery, Carverton.
