Francis (Frank) M. Lukash, 98, of Exeter, passed away at his home on Tuesday January 26, 2021.
Born in Exeter, he was the son of the late John and Elizabeth Durkovic Lukash.
Frank was a 1941 graduate of St. Cecilia High School, Exeter and graduated from the University of Scranton, Class of 1944.
He had worked as manager of telecommunications for Continental Grain, New York City for 32 years before retiring at the age of 55.
After retiring he spent every winter until the age of 91 traveling through Mexico.
He was a member of St. Barbara Parish at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Exeter.
Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were his sisters Helen and Ann Lukash and brothers Dan, Michael and Joseph.
Surviving are his great niece, Lynn Malarkey, with whom he resided, niece Rosemary Brennan of Saugus, Ma. and nephew John Lukash of Exeter. And numerous great nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday from 8:30am until 9:30am at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, LLC, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.
Facial coverings and social distancing will be required.
A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10:00am at St. Barbara Parish in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 224 Memorial St., Exeter. Rev. Michael Finn, pastor, will be celebrant.
Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Slovak Cemetery, Schooley St., Exeter.
