George W. Roxby, 86, of Inkerman, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2026 with his family by his side.
Born in Pittston, he was the son of the late George Henry and Florence Irene White Roxby.
He was a graduate of Jenkins Twp. schools and then served his country in the United States Air Force.
Preceding him in death were his brotheres, Ray and James ( Murph) Roxby.
Surviving are his wife of 63 years, the former Dorothy Lowes and children: Raynee Roxby, Inkerman, David Roxby, Pittston, and Daryl ( Karen) Roxby, Nanticoke.

Brothers: Eugene ( Gerry) Roxby, Hughestown, Alfred ( Denise) Inkerman, and sisters: Florence Bordosky, Hughestown, Beverly Rushel, West Pittston, Jean ( John) McCrea, Forty Fort, Sharon ( Joe) Wolyniec, Plains, and Betsy Wert , Mountaintop. Also numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services are scheduled for May 29, 2026 at Memorial Shrine Burial Park, Carverton.
