Gerald (Jerry) Nastanski, 64, of Plymouth, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2022 at home due to natural causes. Jerry was born in Massachusetts on June 30, 1957 to the late Francis (Tabaka )Fetchko and Joseph Nastanski Sr.
Jerry attended Wyoming Valley West High School and served in the United States Army after graduation. He retired from the staffing industry after many years building connections between local businesses and the community workforce.
Jerry was very involved with his children's extra curricular activities, never missing a dance competition, track meet or football game. He had a special talent for football, enjoying coaching high school and youth leagues, and was perhaps the greatest football fan to his son and best bud, Dylan. He was so very proud of all their accomplishments. A successful dancer, a geologist, a master mechanic and an aspiring Areospace Engineer.
He has always loved spending time with and going on impromptu adventures with his family. Jerry also had a way with cards and knew how to work his way through a good poker tournament for fun.
A dearly loved husband, father, and grandfather, Jerry is survived by his wife of 20 years the former Marti Brogan Nastanski, children Dylan Nastanski; Jerry John Nastanski; Nicole Olin and husband, Jeff; Kristen Padden and husband Gene. He was a very proud pop-pop who cherished every moment of time spent with his granddaughters Alexis and Lana.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by step-father, John Fetchko; his first wife, Brenda Nastanski, who passed away at an early age.; and brothers Joseph and Donnie.
Funeral will be private and is in the care of Gubbiotti Funeral Home, LLC, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.
