Giuliano Pietraccini, 79, of Wyoming, entered into eternal rest on March 25, 2023 while in the care of the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp.
Born on October 31, 1943, in San Severino, Italy, he was the son of Severino and Bruna (Voltolini) Pietraccini.
While residing in Italy, he earned a degree in electrical engineering from St. Francis of Assisi University. He then served as an Instructor Sergeant in the Italian military.
Coming to America , Giuliano was employed by Santarelli Vibrated Block Company, West Wyoming as the general manager. He also served as an adjunct professor of Italian at King’s College and College Misericordia.
He was a devoted father and grandfather (Nonno), soccer enthusiast, and lifelong educator.
Surviving are his son, Jon Paul (Patricia), Lemont, PA; grandchildren, Isabella, Vincent, Christina, and Anthony; former wife, Marianne; and several cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home,LLC, 1030 Wyoming Avenue., Exeter.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10am at the funeral home, with Monsignor John Sempa, followed by an entombment at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton Road, Wyoming.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Giuliano’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Just Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
