Helen D. Parulis, 96, of Exeter passed away at home on Thursday October 15th, 2020.
Helen was born June 23rd, 1924 in Exeter, the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Voda Ondek.
Helen was adventurous and full of life. At an early age, she worked in Washington DC, held several small jobs in the Valley and finished her career with over 30 years at the Wyoming Area School District. She traveled extensively, celebrated life with family and friends, and opened her home to many in the community. She was a devout Catholic and was a member of St Barbara's Parish. She was loved and will be missed by many.
She is survived by: her son Edward Parulis,Exeter, daughter in law Diane Parulis,West Pittston; grandchildren Kimberly (Brian) Edwards of Tucson, Arizona and Nicole (Michael) Holzbauer, Bristol,Wisconsin; great grandchildren Aaron, Rylee, Rita, and Charlotte, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by: her grandparents, parents, all of her siblings, her husband Clement Parulis Sr., daughter Elizabeth Havard, son Clement Parulis Jr. and grandson Peter Parulis.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Sunday from 6-8 pm at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, LLC, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter/
Funeral will be on Monday at 9:00am from the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 9:30am at St. Barbara Parish in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 224 Memorial St., Exeter. The Rev. Michael Finn, pastor, will be celebrant.
Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Schooley St., Exeter.
