Jean Grabowski Obituary
Jean "Willow" Stashefsky Grabowski, 54, of Drums, passed away March 3, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Hazleton.
Born in Somerville, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Edward Stashefsky and Miriam Ruth Cawley Seiwell Stashefsky.
Jean enjoyed ten beautiful years with her husband Michael Grabowski, until he passed away in 2015.
Jean was the Regional Supervisor of Air Quality for the Department of Environmental Protection for 18 years.
Jean, “Willow” is a pure, beautiful soul who touched the lives of everyone around her with her generosity, kindness, intelligence, charisma, and humor. She loved nature and science, and also selflessly loved her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her sister Priscilla.
She is survived by her domestic partner Michael Baran, Mountain Grove; brother, Edward and his wife Mary Kay Stashefsky, Missouri; daughter, Michelle and her husband Timothy Figueroa, Mountain Top; son, Daniel and his fiancé Jacquelyn Llewenvin,Dallas; grandson Xander Llewenvin; niece, Sara and nephews, Anthony and Andrew; great nephew Javier, great nieces Victoria and Annie; and numerous other family members.
Relatives and friends may call from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday March 7th at Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.
Funeral service will be held at 9:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home followed by interment at St. John the Baptist Slovak Cemetery, Exeter.
