Jeanette J. (Armillei) Zengion

eanette J. Zengion,91, of Exeter, passed away on Friday April 10, 2026 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospial.

Born in Hilldale, Plains Twp., she was the daughter of the late ALbert and Mary Burko Armillei.

Jeanette was a  graduate of Plains High School and was a member of Corpus Christi Parish in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Exeter.

Prior to her retirement, she had worked in the garment industry as a seamstress making wedding dresses.

Preceding her in death were her husband Anthony F. Zengion in 2004 and her siblings, Albert Jr. ( Sonny), Richard, Robert, and Marie.

Surviving are her daughter Maria Zengion, Lake Ariel and numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday from 10 until 11 am at St. Anthony of Padua Church ( Corpus Christi Parish), 224 Memorial St., Exeter. 

A Mass of Christian burial will begin at 11am at the church.

Maria would like to thank Dr. Kevin Musto and the care team at the General Hospital especially the advanced Rehabilitation Unit and also the Homebound Ministry of Corpus Christi Parish.
