John J. Costello

John J. Costello, 75, of Exeter, passed away on Wednesday January 17, 2023 at the Allied Services Hospice Unit, Wilkes-Barre surrounded by his loving family.

Born January 21, 1948 in Taylor, he was the son of the late John and Anna Ronchetti Costello.

John was a 1965  graduate of Pittston High School and then entered in the  United States Air Force to serve his country.

He then was employed by the United States Post Office as a Postal carrier for 31 years.

Surviving are his wife of almost 50 years, the former Margaret Delaney and sons Lance ( Ann Peters), Waldof, Md, and Jareth ( Dayana Cardoso), Los Angeles, Ca.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday from 4-6pm at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, LLC, 1030 Wyoming Ave. Exeter.

Funeral will be on Saturday at 9:30am from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10am at St. Barbara Parish in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 224 Memorial St., Exeter.

Interment will be in Mount Olivet Roman Catholic Cemetery, Carverton.
