Josephine A. Furner, 96, of Wyoming, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2024 at the Highland Manor Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Exeter.
Born in Swoyersville, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Mary Furino Locascio.
Mrs. Furner was a member of St. Monica's Parish, West Wyoming and for many years had worked in the garment industry.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Furner in 1985, and siblings, Vincent and Salvatore Locascio, Mary Locascio and Julie Mleczynski.
Surviving are her children, Paul ( Diane) Furner, Edwardsville, Mary ( Gary) Tilley, Exeter, Edward Furner, Bradenton, Fla, Salvatore ( Gabrielle), Wyoming, and Joseph, Exeter.
Grandchildren, Christa, Gina, Gary, Erin, Sal and Dominick and Jenifer ( Brian) and great grandchildren, Brandon, Landon, ALex, Nolan, Wesley, Logan, Leah, Lily, Lucie, and Frankie.
Great grandson Lennon and numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Wednesday from___ to ___pm at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, LLC, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.
Funeral will be on Thursday at 9:30am from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00am St. Monica's Parish, 8th St., West Wyoming.
Interment will be in Mount Olivet Roman Catholic Cemetery, Carverton.
