Kimberly Randazzo Obituary

Kimberly J. Randazzo, 59,of West Wyoming, passed away peacefully at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital, Plains Twp. on Wednesday April 21, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Kingston, Kim was the daughter of Eleanor Lewis and the late John Yankovich. Kim was a 1979  graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School where she participated in track and field. She was also the owner and operator of West Side Bait , a business she began 36 years ago with the help of her husband Louis.

Kim is preceded in death by her father John Yankovich; stepfather Todd Lewis, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Eleanor and Walter Marriott; paternal grandparents John and Catherine Yankovich; step grandmother, Esther West; brother Joseph Todd Lewis, III; and brothers- in- law Michael Randazzo and Jeff "Woody" Woodworth.

In addition to her mother Eleanor Lewis, Kim is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Louis Randazzo; daughter Vanessa Considine and her husband Brett; daughter, Kristin Randazzo and granddaughter, the light of her life, Emma; brother John Yankovich and his wife Donna; brother Gregg Yankovich and his wife Debbie; sister Virginia Sokoloski and her husband Pete; brother Matthew Lewis; father- in- law Luriana Randazzo and his wife Mary; brother- in- law Vincent Randazzo and his wife Mary Kay; sister- in- law Lisa Woodworth; nieces and nephews Kyle, Corey and Brett Yankovich; Kayla, Josh, and Morgan Sokoloski; Noah Yankovich; Lucy Pittman and John Randazzo and Joshua and Saul Woodworth.

Kim was a devoted mother , daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and relished her most recent role as "Nana" to her granddaughter, Emma. She loved nothing more than being surrounded by her family where she could share memories and her contagious laughter. Her door was always open, as was her heart, and she enjoyed the warmth of having a full house and feeding anyone who entered.  She was an avid Alabama Football fan who enjoyed yearly trips with her husband Louis, to games in Tuscalousa.

She enjoyed numerous years of coaching mini football cheerleading and time spent with friends who have become like extended family over the years. She enjoyed donating to kids fishing derbies through out the community and yearly assistance with the Back Mountain Police Department's annual fishing derby for kids and veterans.  Her favorite aspect of her business was the relationships built with the customers over many years. She also enjoyed fishing, traveling, and trips to the beach and cottages.

Kim's family would like to thank the doctors and medical staff at the Henry Cancer Center and Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital. We truly can never thank you enough for the years you were able to give us with her and will always be forever grateful.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a private celebration of life will be held at the families convenience. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be made payable to Louis Randazzo for Kim's granddaughter's education and future endeavors. They may be mailed to 453 West 8th St., West Wyoming, Pa.  18644
