July 24, 2025 Larry James Miller of Swoyersville passed away peacefully to be with his heavenly father July 24, 2025.
Born October 28, 1939 in Danville Pa to Lois (Klapp) and Herbert Miller, he resided in Milton/New Columbia throughout his early life.
He attended Apostolic Bible Institute, St Paul Minnesota and went on to become an ordained minister pastoring congregations in Scranton and Wilkes Barre throughout his life.
Larry loved God and his family deeply; they were the center of his life. He was a kind man who smiled often. Those close to him knew he had a unique sense of humor that only he and his grandson Nathen seemed to understand:) While we did not understand the jokes we will always smile and laugh to ourselves when we think of this.
Larry was preceded in death by his son Nathan on July 14th of this year.
Surviving are his wife Judy Miller (Shirk), Children Kimberly (Charles) Smith of Dallas Pa, Todd (Eileen) Miller Harding and Sandra (Brian) Guarnieri Dillsburg Pa. as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Larry will be greatly missed in person but will live on in our hearts and fond memories. We love you always husband, father, grandfather.
Arrangements are in the care of Gubbiotti Funeral Home,LLC, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. To honor Larry, give an offering in your church or favorite charity in remembrance of him.
