Linda House Obituary

Linda M. House, 76, of Forty Fort, was unexpectedly called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at her residence.

Born in Nanticoke, she was the daughter of the late John Baran and Frances Walp. A graduate of Edwardsville High School, Linda went on to earn her degree in electrical engineering from Penn State University and dedicated over 50 years of her life to working as an engineer at Verizon.

Linda’s passion for life extended beyond her career; she was a truly caring, loving, and compassionate individual who always put others first. Her kindness and generosity touched the lives of everyone who knew her. In her retirement, she found peace and joy in tending to her beautiful garden, nurturing her flowers, plants, and greenery with the same love she shared with those around her.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Holly, and her husband Ken Norberg; granddaughter Paetyn Norberg; and grandpuppy Noela. She is also survived by her brother, Richard, and his wife Janice Baran, of Hanover Twp.

A visitation will be held Wednesday at 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Kingston, followed by a service at 11:00 AM with Rev. Wes Poole, Pastor, officiating.

In honor of Linda’s vibrant spirit, the family kindly requests that attendees wear bright colors instead of black to celebrate her life.

Arrangements are in the care of Gubbiotti Funeral Home, LLC, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.
