Louis Giomboni Obituary
Louis M. Giomboni, 75, of Plains, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday July 4, 2017 at the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital, Plains Twp.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Louis and Mary Johnson Giomboni.
Louis was a graduate of Plains High School .
He last worked as a facilities maintenance manager for the Wyoming Valley Sanitary Authority . He and his wife have previously owned Louie and Barb's Bar, Plains and also Marianelli's Bakery in Hilldale.
He was a member of the Itlo Clulb, Hilldale , the Plains Polish American Veterans Club, and the F. & A.M. of Pa. Landmark Lodge # 0442 Masons for 50 years.
Surviving are his wife of 51 years, the former Barbara Kachur and children:Louis Giomboni, Jr., Linda and her husband Albert Rivera, Joseph and his wife Jill and Jason and his wife Nicole Giomboni, all of Plains.
Also a brother Jack and his wife Linda Giomboni, Plains and 7 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to visitation on Friday from 5-8pm at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.
Funeral services will be on Saturday at 1:00pm at the funeral home with the Rev. John C. Lambert, pastor of Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Plains.
