Louise M. (Hanczyc) McDonnell

Louise M. McDonnell, 93, formerly of Hughestown passed away on Sunday June 4, 2023 at her daughter Sheila's home in  Clarks Summit.

Born in Dupont, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Rose Armenta Hanczyc.

Louise was a graduate of Hughestown High School. In her earlier years she enjoyed working at the A & S Department Store, New York City, and later worked in the garment industry.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert W. McDonnell in 1996 and her son Robert and brothers Stanley and Frank Hanczyz.

Surviving are her daughter Sheila, Clarks Summit and a daughter in law Anne McDonnell, Old Forge, along with 2 grandchildren Justin and Meghan.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday from 5-7pm at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, LLC, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.

Funeral services will be on Friday at 10am at the funeral home with the Rev. James Alco, officiating.

Interment will follow at Memorial Shrine Burial Park, Carverton.
