Marlene E. Augustine, 83, of Pittston, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday May 14, 2024 at her home.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late John Emerick and Antoinette Oko Spisak.
Marlene was a graduate of Hanover High School and was a member of the Christian Apostolic Church, Hilldale.
She had worked as a secretary for various insurance agencies but mostly enjoyed being a homemaker for her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Emil Augustine on August 31, 2018 and a sister Jeannie Dombroski.
Surviving are her daughters, Lisa Augustine, at home, and Maria and her husband Wayne Baxter, Dallas, Pa., a grandson Peter Baxter and brothers James ( Joanne) Spisak, Hanover Twp, and Robert ( Susan) Spisak, Georgia.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday from 5-7pm at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, LLC, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.
Funeral services will be on Saturday at 10am at the funeral home with the Rev. David Fischi, pastor of the Christian Apostolic Church, Hilldale, officiating.
Interment will follow at Memorial Shrine Burial Park, Carverton.
