Mary Ann Hayden, 93, formerly of West Pittston, passed away on Thursday Dec. 23, 2021 in Rochester, N.Y.
Born in Eynon, she was the daughter of the late Garfield and Mary Stefersky Evans.
Mary Ann was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church, West Pittston . She had employed in the custodial department of the Wyoming Area School District, working until she was 84 years young.
Preceding her in death were her husband Harold J. Hayden in 2004 and siblings Thomas Evans, Lillian Bell and Elizabeth.
Surviving are her sons: Jeffrey Hayden and his wife Kathleen, Rochester, NY, and Kevin Hayden and his wife Gwen, Dupont, grandchildren Jeffrey Jr., Brianna and David and 2 great grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister Alice Marra, Peckville.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Tuesday from 4-7pm at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, LLC, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday at the funeral home at 10am with her Pastor Donald Strope, officiating. retired pastor of the Christian Alliiance Missonary Church.
Interment will be in Mountain View Burial Park, Harding.
