Mary ( Molly) L. (Brannon) Zelinski

Molly ( Mary) L. Zelinski, 80, of Pittston, entered into eternal life on Tuesday September 19, 2023 while in the care of Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Plains, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Mary Bradigan Brannon.

Molly was a 1960 graduate of  Jenkins Twp. Schools and then went on to Wilkes-Barre Business College.

She had worked as a nurses aid at the former Valley Crest Nursing Home, Plains Twp. for 27 years.

Preceding her in death were her siblings, Francis, Patrick, Robert and Gerard Brannon and Dorris Brannon and Katherine Studders.

Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Walter Zelinski and children, Diane Zelinski, Avoca, Walter and his wife Rosemary Zelinski, Dallas, and Susan Zelinski, Wyoming, along with grandchildren, Riley Brody, Bethlehem and Bailey and Kaylin Zelinski, Dallas.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday from 5-7pm at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, LLC, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.

Funeral will be held on Saturday at 9:30 am from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10am at St. John the Evangelist Church, William St., Pittston. The Rev. Paul McDonnell, O.S.J., will be celebrant.

Interment will be in Mount Olivet Roman Catholic Cemetery, Carverton.
