Thomas R. Pepe, 83, of Exeter, passed away on Sunday September 24, 2023, at the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital, Plains Twp.
Born in Pittston, he was the son of the late Thomas and Theresa Garafola Pepe.
Tommy was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church and attended Exeter Schools.
He was self-employed as the owner of the Cynthia Sue Fashions in the garment industry. After selling his business, he worked for the Wyoming Area School District.
Preceding him in death was his beloved wife, the former Veronica A. Kowanick in 2013 and siblings, Rita Cohowicz, Antoinette Chundock, Catherine Hammerman, and
Shirley Pepe.
Surviving are his daughters Pamela and her husband Frank Braccini, and Ann and her husband Brian Cook, grandchildren, Victoria, F.J., and Brianna Braccini, and Matthew, Gianna, and Luke Cook. He is also survived by his brother, James and his wife Hazel Pepe, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, September 29, 2023, from 9-10am at St. Barbara Parish, 224 Memorial St., Exeter.
A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10am with the Monsignor John Sempa, pastor, as celebrant.
Private interment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
