William Michael DeAngelo II, 36, of Exeter entered into eternal life on February 19, 2024.
Born February 11, 1988, Billy was the son of William and Antoinette DeAngelo(Exeter). He was many things to many people. A Friend, brother, son, grandson, coworker," Heavy D". He had a larger than life personality and would always be there when you needed him. An avid hunter and fisherman. A true outdoorsman, and an Exeter boy at heart. "Heavy D" was a friend for life who always had your back. A wanderlust who enjoyed spending time with friends and family dinners with his nieces. Billy had a fearless approach to living life and experiencing every moment, He was the curator of our family, the memory keeper, a true stand up guy, and will be missed. Say not in grief “He is no more, but live in the thankfulness that he was”.
Billy attended Wyoming Area where he played football and graduated in 2007. He then continued his education at LCCC by completing the Electrical Construction Technology program with an associates degree in 2010. Billy was a skilled Fence installer/operator at Rutkoski Fencing Inc. for the last 10 years.
He was preceded in death by; paternal grandfather William DeAngelo; Maternal grandparents Anthony “Sparky” Faltyn, Anna Mae Faltyn; Godfather, Joseph Faltyn; Uncle Gary DeAngelo, cousin Lindsay Heck and many lifelong friends.
Billy is survived by; Paternal grandmother Joyce DeAngelo; parents William and Antoinette DeAngelo; sister, Gabrielle DeAngelo; and beloved nieces Emilia Rose, and Bella Joy Adams; God Mother Sherry Drungell; and many Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
The family will receive relatives and friends Sunday 3-6pm at Gubbiotti Funeral Home, LLC, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.
A Mass of Christian burial will be on Monday at 10am at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 224 Memorial St., Exeter with the Rev. Paul McDonnell, O.S.J., as celebrant. Those attending the funeral mass are asked to go directly to the church.
Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Schooley St., Exeter.
